Mango Butter Ultra Refined

This Ultra Refined Mango Butter is refined to remove any colour or scent.  Soft but solid at room temperature, slightly grainy, and melts on contact with the skin.

Common Uses: Mango Butter has been used by the indigenous people of the forest regions of Southeast Asia for centuries. It is rich in antioxidants, emollients, Vitamins A and E, and can soften and moisturize rough, dry skin. Its natural properties help reduce the appearance of fine lines. Mango Butter is ideal for hair care formulations, lotions, body butters, balms, soaps, shaving creams, and lip balms.

Recommended Usage:
• Lotions & Creams: 5 - 20 %
• Balms: 5 – 100 %
• Bar Soaps: 5 - 20 %
• Hair Conditioners: 2 – 5 %

Mango butter can develop crystal-like granules of fat due to storage temperature.

• In a double boiler, heat and hold mango butter to 170-185▪F for 15-20 minutes to ensure fat crystals are completely melted. Then cool the butter rapidly.

If your mango butter looks a little inconsistent, grainy, or patchy, there is nothing wrong with it. Natural butters can change texture with temperature during shipping and storage, especially if they soften and firm up again. As long as it smells fresh and has no signs of mold or rancidity, it is perfectly normal and safe to use.
