Wixy Soap makes every effort to ensure that your order arrives complete and in perfect condition. Should you receive a damaged parcel, or your order arrives incomplete, please contact us immediately by email shop@wixysoap.com. Retain all shipping materials for inspection by the carrier representative if requested to do so.
It is the responsibility of the purchaser to make every effort to accept parcels when they arrive. The purchaser will be charged additional shipping fees to have the order reshipped. Wixy Soap is not responsible for lost or damaged items left unattended at its destination.
Orders should be packed within 48 hours however they could be immediate or they could be longer.
Shipping Costs and Additional Charges
Shipping rates displayed at checkout are estimates based on standard delivery locations and our standard packaging/weight calculations. In most cases, the displayed rate will be the final amount charged.
However, additional shipping charges may apply after your order is placed in certain circumstances, including but not limited to:
- Remote, rural, or outlying addresses (e.g., locations outside major urban areas, northern territories, or regions classified as "remote" by our carriers).
- Addresses requiring special handling (e.g., extended delivery areas, island deliveries, or restricted access points).
- Orders with unusually large/heavy items or dimensional weight adjustments not fully captured in our initial rate setup.
If an additional charge is required, we will contact you via email before processing or shipping your order to provide details and obtain your approval. You will have the option to:
- Accept the additional fee and proceed,
- Modify your order/address to avoid the fee, or
- Cancel the order for a full refund (excluding any non-refundable payment processing fees).
We work hard to keep shipping fair and accurate, but carrier fees for remote areas can vary and are sometimes applied post-checkout. By placing an order, you agree to these potential additional charges where applicable.
Pick-ups
Once your order is ready, we will contact you via email or text as to how you would like to pick it up. You may choose to pick it up weekdays from 8:30 - 4pm at:
411 Kaska Road, Sherwood Park
or 2528 Ellwood Dr. SW Edmonton
Curbsite Pick-Up
Items that cannot tolerate cold or heat may not be available for curbside pickup. If your order is eligible for curbside pickup, it will be at:
1454 Lakeland Village Blvd Sherwood Park.
