• Mango butter helps with the hardness of the soap, and it adds luxurious conditioning and moisturizing
• Coconut oil helps produce a bar of soap with excellent cleaning properties and the desirable fluffy, bubbly factor.
• Palm oil makes bar soap harder with more bubbles and a creamy texture.
• Lard and tallow give soap firmness and contribute to a stable lather.
• Canola oil gives soap a nice, low-creamy lather and is moisturizing.
• Castor oil added to a soap recipe yields a stable lather that is low in density and creamy. Castor adds moisturizing qualities to soap. We add Castor oil to every cold process soap we make!
