The Just Make Soap workshop was so fun!! I took the cold process class prior the workshop, so I knew the basic of making soap. So this time I was able learn the fun details like different swirl patterns.
It was a great workshop! Quite informal, so we could do pretty much what we wanted. I love answering all your questions. Seeing the different soaps and swirls that everyone makes. Thank you Jackie.
Great class if you just want to make soap and that is exactly what we did, just made soap. It was an excellent opportunity to discuss different types of pours, different types of swirls, creating your own soap recipes and discuss whatever was on your mind.😊 And what better place to be at when my soap had misbehaved, Di was there to help out, give me suggestions and offer options. My soap turned out better than I had imagined, see for yourself.
In our workshop, the gals wanted to use Titanium Dioxide. We used the water soluble and stirred into the lye water. The soap was a beautiful white but it traced quickly. Your soap turned out beautifully Grace, I do love it! The Blues really popped!
