9 Cavity Plastic Mold Variety #1

Create beautiful varieties of soaps and solid body products with this reusable 9-cavity plastic mold.

Melt & Pour Soap:
Pour melted soap into the mold at 135°F (57°C) or cooler. Allow the soap to cool completely and harden before removing.

For easier unmolding, place the filled mold in the freezer for approximately 30 minutes, then briefly dip the bottom of the mold into hot water. Gently release the soap from the cavities.

Do not use cooking spray with melt & pour soap.

Cold Process Soap:
Lightly coat the mold with cooking spray before filling. Pour your soap batter into the cavities at trace.

Allow the soap to harden for approximately 24 hours, or longer if needed. Turn the mold over onto a clean surface and gently press the back of each cavity until the soap begins to release. Remove the bars using gloved hands.

Allow cold process soap to cure for 4–8 weeks before use.

Some cold process recipes may require several days or up to a week before they are firm enough to unmold. If your recipe tends to stay soft, adding sodium lactate may help produce a firmer bar and make unmolding easier.

Lotion Bars:
Pour the melted lotion bar mixture into the cavities at 135°F (57°C) or cooler. Allow the bars to cool and solidify completely.

Turn the mold over onto a clean surface and gently press the back of each cavity until the lotion bar releases.

Care Instructions

Wash by hand in warm, soapy water and allow to dry thoroughly.

Do not place in the dishwasher. High dishwasher temperatures may warp the plastic or cause the mold to become brittle.
